FYI – I went today – the .35 cent coupon for Crunch does NOT come off (I think because they are .33 cents. The buy 2 get one does come off at .33 cents.

Also – the Goldfish eCoupons that kept coming off on multiples a month or so ago – only coming off once now.

You may want to check around your store for peelies though I found gold fish on display in 3 spots in Totem lake (I think I took the last two with peelies though (sorry!))

Also make sure you check that your kroger american cheese went down to $1 – my checker had to over ride it!

And bad me didn’t load my eCoupons before leaving this morning.. so I’ll go back for the mushrooms and a few other things I messed up on :)

Someone at my FM has been taking ALL of the coupons out of the Coupon Exchange :( There used to be tons, and now there are ZERO!!! And even after a whole day’s worth of people putting them in there after a Sunday of shoppers! I wish people would just take what they needed and not ALL of them :(

    • Jennifer says:

Sorry all the coupons were gone. Where in the store do you find the exchange? Do all of the FM’s have an exchange area?

      • Crystal says:

Coupon Exchanges are located by ONE of the entrances to FM (so if you’ve never seen it & you only use one door – try the other entrance). *Most* FM’s have them, but NOT all. My friend lives in Bellevue, WA & her FM does NOT have one. My mom lives in Roseburg, OR & they do have one. I’m in Spokane – we have them here.

Sorry Tiffany! That stinks! I can usually find at least ONE good coupon when I shuffle through them, but to have ANY to look through would be a bummer!

  4. Jennifer says:

Just wanted to share that I did the Pantene deal twice and was able to roll my catalina for 2 transactions and have a $3 onyo to spend on my bigger shopping trip later this week. Shop at the Mill Creek, WA Fred Meyer. On my 2nd transaction when I handed the cashier my small stack of coupons (only purchased a couple of items) she commented on my “extreme couponing”. lol…I told her I was practicing. :)

  5. carmen says:

At the FM in Kirkland they have seasalt, salt/pepper and salt/vinegar Kettle Chips for 1.99, only .99 with the $1/1 coupon. I snatched up 3 for my mom who just loves them.

  6. Tiffany says:

Hi. I just wanted to find out what the best route would be to get my store to read their own coupon policy and abide by it? I had a manager tell me today that “in 20 years I have never seen Fred Meyer allow the use of a catalina coupon from another retailer or have I seen a coupon policy”. I just find it interesting that stores aren’t even aware that they have a coupon policy!!! Its kind of silly really. Any help is appreciated. Thanks!!

    • Crystal says:

I would print it out & bring it in for the Manager to read (and share with employees). This past March was the very FIRST time FM has ever posted a Coupon Policy, so this is still pretty new to them.

The policy itself is not very firm, the first few statements basically say “we can change this whenever we want & no store has to follow this” – which REALLY stinks, but at least they finally recognize that they do NEED a policy in place.

With those Catalina coupons, it might be good to explain that FM can send them in to the address listed to be reimbursed just like the store that issued it & you could even show them in the coupon policy where it says this.

      Good Luck!

  7. Tiffany says:

Thanks! The lady that was checking me out just freaked out saying that someone got fired because they took one Safeway coupon, and that she DID NOT want to get fired. I think that is a bit far fetched, but who knows. Thanks, I will try printing it out!

  8. Tiffany says:

Yaaaaaaay!! I talked to the manager that said she had no idea about any coupon policy……then she called and said she did find the coupon policy and that I was right we can use catalinas from other stores there!! Yaaay! She even thanked me for helping her get up to speed on the policy.

    • Crystal says:

Nice!!! Great job! Hopefully they spread the word to all the cashiers. I do feel bad for the cashiers, they often times have no clue a change has been made & they know they will get in BIG trouble for not following the rules (I’ve also heard rumors of getting fired – but that seems a little harsh to me too). I’m sure you’ve helped a lot of people at your store (now they won’t also have to explain when they use their cat’s). Awesome!! :-)

  9. Frugal Dad says:

Hi there! Great website and very helpful information! I have a suggestion regarding the printable list. It would be great if the deal scenarios would print out with the list for reference purposes. Thanks for sharing your knowledge!
